The Book of Philippians, in the Bible, is depicted from the perspective of the Apostle Paul. Comprised of four chapters, it is one of the shorter books in the myriad of stories that make up the religious compilation. It is believed the New Testament book is a letter from Paul to the believers of the church of Philippi expressing gratitude for help during his time of need. Paul also took this as an opportunity to promote Christian faith and unity. He did this by providing personal testimonies, or examples from his own life.

To date, many Christians find the book to be inspirational, turning to select scriptures in their own times of need. Some of the more popular verses include the following:
