Second Coming of Christ

The Second Coming of Christ is a widely and differentially interpreted topic, but essentially refers to the return of Jesus Christ to earth. During this second coming, Jesus Christ will battle and defeat Satan, and reunite with this "Saints" The Second Coming also refers to Jesus Christ "reclaiming God's Kingdom", meaning that the world as God once created it, in all perfection, will become the battleground of His victory, and the desolation of the non-believers.

Individuals claiming to be Christians, or belonging to the religion of Christianity believe in this second coming, though not all sects of Christianity are considered equal or "correct" in their interpretations. For example, Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in the second coming as a singular event, but as a "presence" or "duration" that began in the year 1914. This "presence" is believed by Jehovah's Witnesses to last until Armageddon (another reference to The Rapture, or the Second Coming).

Non-Christians, like Jews and Islamics, do not believe in the second coming, nor do they believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. He was viewed as a messenger of God sent as a " guide", such describes the Islamic religion. Jews don't believe in the second coming because He did not fulfill the Messianic principles while on Earth. Christians believe the fulfillment of these principles will occur during the Second Coming.
