Agnetic resonance imaging
This is a research paper topic suggestion on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).It will center on theory and diffusing. Custom research papers are Paper Masters specialty. The thesis statement and topic you see here is just a SAMPLE research paper of what we can provide you in research.
A good MRI research paper should have at least 8-10 journal references, minimum. Journals such as Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and, to a lesser extent, Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, will be useful. The topic will be: One of the main advantages of MRI /MRS as opposed to CT or other imaging modalities is its great flexibility.
MRI /MRS has been found to be useful in a wide variety of applications, including the following:
- Functional imaging (fMRI)
- Diffusion imaging
- Metabolic quantification (MRS)
- Conventional diagnostic imaging
In particular in the essay, functional MRI (fMRI) has received a lot of attention in the research community. Describe, in detail, the theory of how fMRI works (use proper citations). Diagrams, illustrations, etc. are fine and may be useful. The bulk of the paper, however, should focus on applications of fMRI. Describe several different stimulus paradigms, the theory (clinical anatomy) and what benefit these experiments have for the general public. Also describe shortcomings in their approaches.
Although your research may want to examine CT, PET and MRI as the principle imaging technologies, it should be noted that these technologies are among the state-of-the art in what medical science has to offer. Ultrasound, and electrocardiograms (ECG) are among the other imagining techniques that are used to look inside of the body. Because these techniques are widely used and, for the most part, cost efficient, they were not considered in this investigation. However, it is important to note that these imagining techniques are just as important to the health and well being of the patient. Without these imaging techniques, the physician would be unable to understand a vast majority of the complex problems that impact the overall productivity of the human body.Despite the fact that MRI is indeed one of the most comprehensive methods for looking inside of the human body, the cost of this procedure continues to inhibit the utilization of the MRI. Because the costs associated with MRI are so high, many healthcare providers choose to rely on cheaper methods of diagnosis-such as x-ray or CT-in order to provide diagnosis. In addition to the fact that MRI is expensive, the closed tube of the MRI can be somewhat daunting for the patient. Although open MRIs have been developed to overcome this problem, the results produced in these machines is often not as accurate as those produced from a closed MRI scan. Further, open MRI technology, because of its relative newness to the field can, in some cases, be even more expensive than traditional closed MRI scans.
